After exploring on both the Michigan and GoWMU websites, I have came to some conclusions about each. Starting with the Michigan website, the text was too small and made it somewhat harder to read than most sites. Also, the homepage did not take up the entire Internet window which congested all of the text, pictures etc. also making it difficult to to read. On the other hand, it was very simple to plan a trip to Michigan taking care of accommodations, entertainment and everything else you would want to do while on your trip. There were not many distractions on the site making it easy to stay focused and if you are not very Internet savvy, this site would still be very easy to navigate through.
As for the GoWMU site, we all use this every day so it was very easy to navigate through and the text is much larger than the Michigan site making it easy to read and find the information you are looking for. The one thing I do not like about this site is the fact that there is no general search box to input what you are looking for. I believe that if you have never been on this site before, it would still be easy to get done what you need to get done quickly with few confusions.

Yes, this is for my web design class but we do not use it much anymore as you can see. I'm working on a website now for my project so once I get further along with it, I will post the link so you can check it out.
